About
LEX: I trained as a dancer at English National Ballet School and was really quite good, but in the end I decided that I liked eating too much to pursue it as a career. So with a grand jete I landed in the world of advertising.
I got hired at BMB just after YouTube launched and moved to Grey in 2011, nine years and two spells of maternity leave later, I headed to The Brooklyn Brothers Offices where no sooner had I memorised the door code than the country went into lockdown. I left there to join HAVAS London where I’m currently working with Jamie Starbuck.
JAMIE: I started out wanting to be a professional snooker player, but after four years of never getting higher than 12 I gave up and went to Uni. Like Lex I did a graphic design degree and then went to Watford. My first job was at BMB, after 6 rewarding years there I left and freelanced for a bit before finally joining up with Lex at Grey. After 6 great years at Grey I enjoyed spells at BBC Creative and AMV before reuniting with Lex at Havas London where we are currently Creative directing Department for Education and Carling amongst others. I write in my spare time and am on the second draft of a screenplay about the world’s most useless football hooligans.
